Busy Summer, but it ain’t over yet!
We’ve had a busy summer here at CBMG and we are preparing for August; a great time to be in the mountains of Crested Butte. The number of people in town is dwindling, the air nice and cool, and we’ve paid our dues with rain in June so August is sure to be dry (we’ll see . . ). We’ve done a slew of trips so far and we had return clients, the Lyall’s, over from England for a cornucopia of trips in the area. They had a great couple of weeks with John MacKinnon doing the S Couloir on Purple, practicing lead climbing in Taylor Canyon, doing another mountaineering day in the Golden Tops, and topping it off with a day in the Black Canyon. Thanks for exploring the area with us!

This is what you look like after a day in the Black Canyon. Sorry Harry, we couldn’t resist.
