Snodgrass Proposal Rejected !?!? ….

Somewhat old news around Crested Butte these days, but we thought with the lull of off-season almost over and a new ski season starting in less then a week, it was worth mentioning. In a somewhat surprise desicion, the USFS denied CBMR’s Proposal for Lift Served skiing to be expanded onto Snodgrass Mountain, from even entering the NEPA process. No chance for public comment, case closed.
Needless to say a bit of a firestorm has started here in CB. Regardless of which way you lean, this is some big news around our small parts.
